2026 IN HOUSE Programme

                                     APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

Introduction

Our new initiative offers creative practitioners of all disciplines a short term residency on a fixed cost basis. The programme will offer four 3-night sessions between April and September, with 6 artists plus us, your hosting artists – Dr Nicola Streeten and John Plowman, who participate in each session. These residencies are run along the same lines as our IN RESIDENCE programme providing a convivial, safe and critically engaged space.

A key element of the IN HOUSE programme is that each participant has the option to receive a personalised mentoring session with us – Dr Nicola Streeten and John Plowman who bring our decades of experience and knowledge to support your specific practice. The aim, as with the IN RESIDENCE programme, is to select appropriate groups of creatives that will complement each other's practice. Our motivation as in all the residential activity we host at The Grange is to establish a supportive, critical and effective group dynamic that all participants will benefit from, including us.

These residencies will suit you if:

  • You have previously participated in the IN RESIDENCE programme.

  • You are looking for concentrated time to develop and progress your practice.

  • You have commitments that make a longer residency difficult to fit into your life.

  • You want to reflect on and/or redirect your current creative practice.

  • You would value the unique element of The Grange Projects residencies of peer to peer feedback.

  • You would value the personalised mentoring session from Dr Nicola Streeten and John Plowman.

Costs

The IN HOUSE programme is offered on a fixed cost basis of £300. A non-refundable deposit of £75 is payable on acceptance of our offer. The balance of £225 is payable one month before your residency starts.
